What are Gallagher Benefits?

Gallagher Benefits are a complementary feature included with fixed Bunch contracts created from 9 February 2026 onwards. One account is provided per household, for the lead tenant. Provided by Gallagher Group Insurance, they're designed to give you everyday protection and peace of mind, without the hassle of arranging multiple services separately.

It's one package with three key protections:

  • Worldwide 24/7 Online GP Access - Instant access to a GMC-licensed GP via app or phone, for you and your family

  • 24/7/365 Mental Health Counselling - Confidential professional support and counselling, available any time of day or night

  • Mobile Phone & Gadget Cover - Worldwide protection for your phones, laptops, tablets and more

Who is eligible for Gallagher Benefits?

Gallagher Benefits are included at no extra cost with fixed Bunch contracts created from 9 February 2026 onwards. Each household gets one account, set up for the lead tenant. It doesn't matter which Bunch services you have — if you're on a fixed contract, you're covered.

Does it cost anything extra?

No. Gallagher Benefits come as part of your Bunch membership at no additional cost to you.

Who provides Gallagher Benefits?

Gallagher Benefits are provided by Gallagher Group Insurance, not by Bunch. Bunch has partnered with Gallagher to offer these benefits as part of your membership, but the services themselves are delivered and managed by Gallagher and their partners.

When do the benefits become active?

Your Online GP and Mental Health Counselling services are active from day 1. Gadget & Phone Cover becomes available once you're past your cooling-off period (from day 15, or your contract start date if sooner).

We'd recommend setting up your HealthHero account for Online GP and Mental Health Counselling as soon as you have access. That way, it's ready to go whenever you need it.

Here's what you'll see on your portal's Services page on day 1 — Online GP and Mental Health Counselling are live, while Gadget & Phone Cover is not yet active:

Once you're past day 14 (or your contract start date if sooner), all three perks will show as live on your home page:

Worldwide 24/7 Online GP Access

What is the Online GP Service?

The Online GP Service gives you 24/7/365 access to a GMC-licensed, practising GP via the app. It covers both physical and mental wellbeing, and the majority of issues can be resolved over the phone.

Who is covered?

One account is set up per household for the lead tenant. The Online GP then covers you and your family. This includes resident children up to age 21 (or up to 25 if in full-time education).

What does the Online GP Service include?

  • Unlimited consultations — use it as much as you need

  • No pre-existing condition exclusions — covers all medical histories

  • No age limit

  • Worldwide support — doctors experienced in supporting patients abroad

  • Fit notes and prescriptions available

  • Personal health history tracking

  • Services available 24 hours after sign-up

Can the Online GP issue prescriptions?

Yes. If clinically appropriate, your GP can issue a private prescription.

Can the Online GP provide referrals?

Yes. If you need further investigation or specialist treatment, the clinician can provide an open private referral letter. Please note that not all patients are eligible to be referred, and you would need to arrange the appointment and funding yourself.

Can the Online GP issue fit notes?

Yes. Where clinically appropriate, your GP can issue a private fit note.

How do I access the Online GP Service?

You can access the Online GP Service through your Bunch portal. Log in to your portal account, go to Services, and look for the Perks section. From there, click Access service on the Online GP card to get started.

Is the Online GP a replacement for my NHS GP?

No. The Online GP Service is a complementary service designed to give you fast, convenient access to a clinician. It does not replace your NHS GP registration. For ongoing conditions or emergencies, you should continue to use your registered GP or call 999/111.
