We’ve updated our late payment fee policy to make it fairer and more transparent for everyone.
From June 2025, the previous £20 late fee has been reduced to a one-time £15 fee, and it will only be applied in specific situations.
Here’s how it works:
Your payment fails
We’ll reattempt to take payment from your account three times.
If payment still isn’t received, we’ll give you a grace period to make the payment.
If no payment is made during this time, a £15 late fee will be applied.
This fee is only charged once per missed payment cycle — even if you miss payments across multiple months.
For example:
If you miss payments in months 3, 4, and 5, you’ll still only be charged one £15 fee, not one for each month.
We’ve made this change to ensure you’re not placed under unnecessary financial pressure.

Updated version
To ensure our approach is fairer and more transparent, we’ve updated our late payment fee policy. From June 2025, the previous £20 late fee will be reduced to £15, and it will only apply in specific circumstances.
What’s Changing
Reduced Fee: The late fee has been lowered from £20 to £15.
One-Time Charge: This fee is only charged once per account in any 12-month period — even if multiple payments are missed.
How It Works
We will automatically attempt to collect payment on three separate occasions:
Attempt 1 – Day 1
Attempt 2 – Day 3
Attempt 3 – Day 6
2. If payment is still not received:
A Late Payment Fee Warning Letter will be sent on Day 7.
A grace period will be provided to allow time for payment.
3. If no payment is made by Day 21:
A £15 late payment fee will be applied.
A Late Payment Fee Confirmation Letter will be issued.
Example
If you miss payments in Month 3, Month 4, and Month 5, you will still only be charged one £15 fee across the 12-month period — not one fee per month.
