When will my payment be taken?

Your payment will be taken automatically on your designated payment day, which for most customers is the 1st business day of each month.

  • Payments are taken via continuous card authority, not Direct Debit.

  • This means your card can be charged at any time during the day (up until 23:59), so don’t worry if it doesn’t go out first thing in the morning.

  • No manual action is required once your card is added to the customer portal.

If you’ve just updated your card details, your next payment will still be collected automatically—just make sure there are sufficient funds available on your payment day.

What does my payment cover?

Your monthly invoice includes your charges for services managed by Bunch (such as energy, broadband, water or TV License, depending on your package). For energy, your payment is typically based on estimated annual usage spread evenly over 12 months.

What if my energy supply hasn’t switched to Bunch yet?

If your property hasn’t fully switched over to Bunch, don’t worry—we’ll ensure you’re not charged incorrectly:

  • We’ll apply a credit to your invoice to cover any period where you weren’t on supply.

  • Once your switch is complete, we’ll update your account accordingly to reflect your actual supply start date.

If you’ve recently paid a final balance to your previous supplier, let us know. Once you receive your final bill, share it with us—this helps confirm the switch has gone through and allows us to fully complete your setup.
