🏡 Moved Into a Property Bunch Already Supplies?
If you’ve recently moved into a property where Bunch is already the active supplier, we will remain your supplier until you either sign up with us or switch to a different provider — even if you haven’t opened an account yet.
This means:
You are responsible for paying for any energy used from the day you moved in.
This is standard industry practice: the current occupier is liable for usage from their move-in date, regardless of whether they set up an account.
What you need to do now:
Decide whether to stay with Bunch or switch away
Stay with Bunch: Sign up with us to get onto one of our tariffs and avoid any supply interruptions.
Switch away: Start a switch to a supplier of your choice.
Act quickly — You will continue to be billed by Bunch until your new supplier takes over.
🔁 Already a Bunch Customer But Cancelled?
If you’ve cancelled your Bunch contract but remain in the property, your account will be placed on a Standard Variable Tariff (SVT) until your new supplier takes over.
You will still receive bills for any usage between your cancellation date and the date your new supplier takes over.
📅 If You’re Receiving Bills
Check the dates on the bill to confirm they cover a period when you were living in the property or still supplied by Bunch.
If the dates overlap with your switch date or cancellation request, contact us so we can review and adjust if needed.
If you’re new to the property and don’t want to stay with Bunch, you must either:
Sign up with Bunch to formally take over the account, or
Switch to another supplier immediately.
Clear any outstanding balance for usage during your time at the property — this must be paid before your switch can complete.
