Rebel Energy has stopped trading. Ofgem, the energy regulator, appointed British Gas as the temporary supplier to protect customers.

Your switch journey
Depending on how your energy was handled after Rebel closed, your path may be one of the following:
You moved from Rebel Energy to TRU Energy, and then to Bunch
You moved from Rebel Energy to British Gas via Ofgem, and are now joining Bunch
What this means for you
No matter your path, here’s what you need to know:
Your energy supply is safe — there will be no disruption
Any credit you had is protected — it will be carried over
You don’t need to do anything — we’re handling the transfer with British Gas
What we’re doing now
We’re working closely with British Gas and the administrators to bring your account into our system. This includes:
Managing the transfer of customer details and balances
Making sure your account is set up correctly
Only contacting you if we need anything specific
